A psoriasis treatment that works and is steroid-free

I would like to share my personal experience with P. I do not suffer from it myself, but I have seen patients whose skin conditions improved before my very eyes. In terms of dietry, you must omit alcohol and cholestrol foods from your diet (e.g., diary products etc), but you can take them again by introducing them slowly in your diet, one item a week (this is explained more on the website) so that you can identify the food that triggers P. We had one patient who had psoriasis all over and it completely healed. And we couldn't figure out what was causing it because he was eating normally again, until one day he had nasi lemak and we found that it was the ikan bilis that was triggering it. So now he is ikan-bilis free and psoriasis free.

(b) Is it approved by the Ministry of Health?

I am not sure about the Bangsar village but last time I passed by Caring in Hartamas they had it in stock.

And yes, it is approved by the Ministry of Health, MAL no (MAL 06070088K). This information is provided on the phytomedicare website.

Just some other extra info, this product won a gold medal award in the Seoul International Invention Fair in 2004, a silver medal award in the 33rd International Exhibition of Invention, New Techniques and Products in Geneva, Switzerland in 2005, and two other awards locally.

Enbrel is one of the newer biologics on the market that is very successful at treating both psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis (which I suspect that you also have). It is very expensive, however, so that most insurance companies may not cover the cost of it, unless you've tried and failed the more standard (and cheaper) forms of treatments, such as topical therapy, UV light, other systemic medicines, such as methotrexate. You also will need significant amount of disease before they will cover the cost of the treatment. However, should u need the medicine, it has worked wonders on many people afflicted with the problem. As an aside, if your dad's is horrible, has he looked into getting on Enbrel?
