There are many natural women who has had great success with Qhemet Biologics, including myself. Check out this forum: nappturality.com and look under the commercial products forum and you will see tons of review on Qhemet, Karen's, Oyin, Blended Beauty, just to name a few. HTH.

Re: Biologics
I pay approx RM7-RM10 per tablet (which I take daily) for acitretin.
I'm sure the doctor can order it from the pharmaceutical company if he/she has experience with it.
You can find our more at www.soriatane.com
IMHO, biologics are currently too costly for the majority of psoriasis sufferers in Malaysia

Re: Biologics
Nope, forgot to ask him about that. But I don't think its available for me. He told me methotrexate and cyclosporin was availble and if its really chronic, Enbrel is it? Or something like that is also available but it costs RM50k per annum. His annual budget is only RM150k. Raptiva is RM20k per injection, twice a week, for 4 or 6 weeks I forgot.

Biologics
Mmkay, here's the thing. I've asked about this new systemic drug from my derm, and here's what his reply was.
The number one side effect which is the main reason why he would never ever give me Biologics, TB a.k.a. Tuberculosis. An average of 7-8 out of 10 patients under Biologics treatment will suffer from TB later on. The main reason why this happened is because Biologics works specifically. The way Biologics work is that it only targets the cell which is main problem psoriasis, the T-cell (if I'm not mistaken). However, when it attacks that specific cell, the immunity against TB will stop working.
He said he would definitely recommend it for PA patients because it works really well for the arthritis problem. If you don't have PA, its better to stay away from Biologics.
So currently I'm under methotrexate treatment again. He increased my dose by 3 times compared to my previous treatment and controlling the side effect with folic acid tablets. I do hope methotrexate works for me this time because my P is flaring up like crazy.
