Re: Mixed vaseline
Yeap, I saw the pharmacist mix it on the spot. The 'Armour' is totally gone now only one huge scar left but I still have 1 more 'Armour' left, my MTX was cut down before I defeated it. Actually it only had like 20% left but now it's getting larger again, I will go back to battle after my finals. I still have some stocks left muahahaha
This is the defeated 'Armour', although I am 90+% cleared now but I still have scars similar to this all over, anyone got any advice to treat discolourations?
P/S: Sorry for the hairs...

Re: Mixed vaseline
Hi EcSTaTiC,
Wow ... nice term you have used i.e. "Armour"...
er .. is the Armour gone? Interesting tactic your derm has given. Looks very much like a combo tactic and I think combo tactics are great.
Reading from your post - this persistent patch was being treated from the outside (i.e. all the topicals) plus from the inside cuz you were on MTX.
Can I ask if the derm mixed the vaseline and salicylic acid powder for you? I didn't know saliclylic acid came in powder form.

Mixed vaseline
Ok, I don't know whether you guys tried this or not but apparently this worked very well for me.
I had this one patch on my leg with zomfgbbqwtf-epic-THICK scales, thick enough to be called armour. I tried applying steroid based creams and stuff before this and it never had any effects on the armour.
My derm gave me this mix to try, its a mixture of vaseline and salicylic acid powder, and after applying once/twice a day, the scales can be easily peeled off after 2-3 days.
According to my observations, certain creams only work if your scales are not too thick, therefore use this mix and get rid of the scales before you apply whatever creams you wanna use.
Now, that armour of mine is completely gone, only a huge scar left, and the way I did it was methotrexate(15mg per week)+(vaseline+salicyclic acid powder)+UVB treatment+Johnson's Baby Milk Lotion+Gamat Skin Gel
Yea I know the mix is crazy, basically I was just applying everything since nothing ever works for my 'armour'.
Oh by the way, Johnson's Baby Milk Lotion is great, smells good and feels good.
P/S: MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU SINCE MY BODY IS ABIT WEIRD COMPARED TO THE MAJORITY
