Hi Dom & everyone else,

Thought of dropping a note to provide some updates.

I am still using all those neem products that I've mentioned in my earlier postings - the shampoo, the lotion and the neem supplement.

The shampoo has managed to keep my scalp "almost" normal. I noticed that when I sleep late, the flaking will start again but at a manageable level. I can still wear dark coloured clothes everyday (with just a little flaking...almost not noticeable Smile ). Then when I catch up on my sleep again, it went back to almost normal again.

But the neem supercritical supplement is helping a lot. I am no longer relying on my dragon fruit to help my constipation. The supplement has helped to regulate my bowel movement (I used to go once in every week or even longer). Now it's almost every morning cheers Also, after taking the supplement for a month plus, I noticed that I can cheat more frequently on my food. I can take more food with gluten and sugar. My level of tolerance seems to have increased. But of course, I don't want to push it too far. I still try to take care of my diet. But it's a new found freedom when I find that I can cheat more often now!

Another update - if you are interested to ask further question about this product, the singapore distributor is coming end of this month for an exhibition that is going to be held in KL. It's called the Exhibition on Medicinal Plant, Herbal Products & Natural Health. A lot of companies will be setting up their booths there and one of them is this product that I'm using (it's called Organix South - made in US). The website for the exhibition is:

http://www.biztradeshows.com/herbal-world/

Ok, I know I sound like as though I'm getting commission for these products. Of course not. But I'm just very very thankful for such a wonderful product...without it, my scalp will look horrible by now. And my self-esteem would be really low & I cannot imagine how it will affect my family members.

I just put it up here in case if you are interested to find out more. Since their booth is already here in KL, you may find it more convenient. I am hoping that they will set up a shop here so that I don't have to buy from Spore all the time.

Take care!

Clarice,

Cool news ... thanks for sharing. Any idea where the matrade exhibition is? I think it is at the PWTC unless I am wrong.

I went on a day trip to Pahang and ate some durian tarts (really yum) at Yik Kee restaurant in Karak. I'm flaking like crazy on the scalp this week! Must have got eggs in em' and I gulped them down without considering (paying the price now).

So waiting for my acitretin to kick in plus gonna go on a 5-7 diet with economy rice and just vege and taufu. I find that this does the trick for me to calm the P.

By the way, do you have any recommendation for quick meal food? Ie rice based, taufu based, yadda yadda yadda ...

I make myself the following when I am really hungry and gulp it down:

:: Brown rice powder (can mix with soya bean drink or apple juice) - ready to drink. Gives me the carbs when I need it. Can get it in TMC, Giant, Village grocer (bangsar) and I've even seen it in sundry shops. Nature's own is the brand. Tho not organic - can't find one that is without all the skim milk, gluten, yadda yadda yadda, etc

:: Protein powder soy based - get it from GNC (tho kinda expensive and I'm looking for alternatives).

:: Tuna (straight from the can with olive oil)

:: Fruits (guava, apples, etc)

I'm trying to look for more carbs stuff that can easily be eaten (plus not at organic shop prices).

Found another item in Village grocer, Bangsar which are rice bars coated with honey (really sweet and energy boosting) but it's like RM16 per bar. Steep!

Over to you Smile

Hi Dom & everyone else,

Today this website really looks weird...only one or two word per line...to read a posting requires me to scroll so many pages down. I don't know if you understand what I'm talking about....sorry, don't know much about IT or web related stuff Smile

Anyway, I just want to inform everyone that the exhibition has been postponed to February. It was cancelled last minute by our beloved government...talking about the way things are being done in this country...I shall not comment further.

I will update everyone again if the Feb dates are confirmed.

Ok...I am not writing long here due to the weird look of the website today. Dom, will reply you again.

Take care!

PS: Latest update - still looking and feeling great thanks to the Neem products, healthy & suitable diet (especially the gluten & sugar free diet!!...though not 100%), sufficient sleep (don't underestimate this important factor - otherwise the flaking starts again for me...) and maintaining a healthy mental state Smile

Hi Clarice,
I did the Alcat test almsot as soon as i read abt it on your post.

Now there seem to be so many foods tht i cannot eat!! Sad
(for example, i can't eat cane sugar - so manythings have sugar in it!!, and even rice i'm "mildly" sensitive to!..and inc gluten and casein (also mildly sensitive)

I've tried to be good, but i didn't see much of an improvement..so, lapsed a couple of times recently.

Just wondering, (to try and motivate myself back again!!), how soon did u see an improvement after changing your diet, and did u really manage to follow it strictly? Also, how much role does the neem products play in keeping your P under control? Cos i haven't ordered any for myself yet... was kinda hoping tht the new diet would works wonders!!

thks Smile
